About the Course
Many Muslims sincerely wish to read the Qur’an correctly but feel they started too late, never had the opportunity to learn properly, or were never taught the foundations. This program is designed to remove that barrier completely.
Tajweed Journey 2026 is built specifically for complete beginners and converts. No prior knowledge is required. We begin from the very first step — the letter Alif — and guide students step by step until they are able to confidently read the Qur’an with proper tajweed.
This is not a rushed class or a short crash course. It is a structured learning journey where students gradually develop the skills needed to recite the words of Allah correctly and clearly.
Class Schedule
Students will attend one-hour lessons, four days a week, allowing for consistent practice, repetition, and steady progress. This schedule ensures that even complete beginners receive the repetition and guidance necessary to develop strong reading skills.
All live lessons are recorded and uploaded, allowing students to review the material at any time. If a class is missed, students can easily watch the recording and stay on track without falling behind.
Course Objectives
During this journey students will:
Learn the Arabic alphabet from the ground up
Master proper pronunciation of each letter (makhārij)
Learn the rules of tajweed step by step
Practice reading Qur’an with teacher correction
Develop the confidence to recite correctly on their own
By the end of the program, students will have the essential foundation every serious student of knowledge needs: the ability to read the Qur’an properly.

The Tajweed Journey is a 6-month structured program, designed to give students enough time, repetition, and guided practice to build a strong and lasting foundation in Qur’anic reading and tajweed.

January 6th – March 1st, 2025
Foundations of Arabic Morphology
In this module, we embark on the journey of mastering Arabic Sarf (morphology) through Sarf Book 1. By the end of this module, you will have a solid grasp of ten essential verb patterns, empowering you to confidently use a wide range of Arabic verbs in small sentences. You will also develop the ability to recognize and understand many verbs in the Qur’an. The module concludes with a comprehensive exam to ensure your success.
April 7th – October 7th, 2025
Building the Foundations of Arabic Grammar and Application
As the longest and most comprehensive module, Module 2 focuses on Arabic Grammar Book 1, which consists of 27 chapters. You will begin proficiency in the fundamental rules of Nahw (grammar) while applying all the morphology concepts learned in Module 1. By the end of this module, you will have the skills to speak, write, and hold small Arabic conversations, providing you with confidence in both classroom and practical settings. Final Exam: October 11th, 2025
October 13th – February 16th, 2026
Exploring the Noble Qur’an and Hadith
This module takes you deeper into the language of the Qur’an and Hadith. We will complete lessons from Juz Amma, engaging in simple Tafseer (exegesis) entirely in Arabic. Additionally, we will analyze and learn 15 selected Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, enriching both your understanding of Arabic and Islamic knowledge.
March 23rd – September 14th, 2026
Immersion: Arabic as a Living Language
Here, we take a transformative step – all communication will be in Arabic, both from the teacher and the students. This immersive experience will sharpen your ability to think, speak, and respond in Arabic fluently. Using Qira’ah (reading) and Ta’beer (expression) books, you will enhance your practical skills in reading comprehension and verbal expression, providing confidence to engage with Arabic.
September 15th – February 7th, 2027
Reaching New Heights: Intermediate to Advanced Morphology and Grammar
In this module, we continue our journey into intermediate and advanced Sarf (morphology) and Nahw (grammar) through Books 2. By the end, you will possess a deep understanding of Arabic structure, ready to tackle more sophisticated texts and forms of expression
March 15th – September 1st, 2027
Arabic Literature: A Journey Through Time
This module introduces you to the beauty of Arabic literature, its history, major figures, and significant texts. We will explore Arabic poetry, starting from the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic period) to better understand the Qur’an and Hadith through the lens of the early Arabs. We will then delve into poetry from the time of the Prophet ﷺ, the Righteous Caliphs, and up to the Abbasid period. This study will deepen your appreciation for the richness of the Arabic language and its historical context.
September 1st – December 30th, 2027
The Final Chapter: Towards Mastery of Arabic
In this final module, we will explore advanced grammar and morphology, bringing all your previous knowledge together. You will also study Balaghah (Arabic eloquence), unlocking the beauty and rhetorical power of the Arabic language. This is where you will realize that every step of this journey has been worth it – the effort, the challenges, and the growth.
